Hello family and friends!

This year I am going to be doing a summer mission outreach through Child Evangelism Fellowship^®. This is an amazing opportunity to share God’s Word and to grow new skills to teach the Gospel to children.

In Matthew 19:14 Jesus says, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.” I accepted Jesus as my Savior at a VBS when I was 6, so I know the influence that a strong leader and teacher can make in bringing kids to know Christ, and I would like to be a part of that, too through 5-Day Clubs.

A 5-Day Club^® is very similar to a Vacation Bible School program, the main difference being that we travel throughout our area. We will be going to trailer courts, parks, campgrounds, and even more locations so that we can share the gospel with children in our community.

Before I can take part in this summer missions’ outreach, I will be attending a one-week training called Christian Youth in Action^® (CYIA^™). During this training I will learn how to teach exciting Bible lessons, real life missionary stories,  meaningful memory verses, and more.

Because we are local missionaries, this does cost money. I am asking my friends and family to support me in the work I will be doing with CEF^® this summer to reach children with the Gospel. Philippians 4:16-17 says, “For even in Thessalonica ye sent once and again unto my necessity. Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account.” Many people are unable to go out and share the gospel like I will be doing this summer, but that does not mean you can’t play an important part in this ministry. Ministry is not possible without the financial and prayer support of people like you. I ask that you prayerfully consider giving in honor of the missions work I will be doing this summer!
