Madison Hochstetler
Dear friends and family,
My name is Madison Hochstetler and I have been invited to participate in a summer mission’s outreach this summer through Child Evangelism Fellowship. In order to participate, I will be attending Christian Youth in Action. CYIA is a training program designed for teens to learn how to share the gospel with children. While at CYIA I will learn how to teach Bible lessons, memory verses, songs, and more.
Psalms 96:3 says, “tell everyone about the amazing things He does.” I want to let kids know about Jesus Christ and the amazing things He does. I came to Christ through mailbox club, a bible study course by mail, when I was around six years old. Now that I am older, I would like to help young kids have the same feelings and opportunities as I have had because of Jesus. Then recently every door has opened for me to be able to do CYIA, making it feel like God really wants me to do this.
At CYIA I will be taught how to be an evangelist to children. After training I will get to teach in 5-Day Clubs, also known as vacation bible school on the road, across six counties. I will also be teaching the gospel at the local county fairs.
This mission's outreach and training does cost money. Any money raised covers gas, materials needed, uniforms, training, and other mission expenses. I would like to ask if you would help support me financially and in prayers to help cover the expenses. Please pray for me while I train and go out to new places.
