Dear Friends and Family,  

I am excited to announce that I will be working with Child Evangelism Fellowship again this summer.  This will be my second year as a summer missionary, and I can’t wait to see what God has in store.   

I trusted Jesus as my Savior in 2020, when I realized that salvation is through faith, not by works.   Until then, I’d been trying to work for my salvation. I realized that I couldn’t do it on my own, and I prayed and asked Jesus to save me.  Since then, I’ve wanted to be able to share Jesus with other people, but I didn’t really know how. Last year, I learned how through CEF’s Christian Youth in Action training. That was an experience I will never forget. It was awe-inspiring to see God touch the hearts of broken children in my community.    

In order to be a summer missionary, I must attend Christian Youth in Action. CYIA is a one-week training camp designed to train teens and young adults how to effectively share their faith on a child’s level. CYIA will be held June 5-11 at Indiana Wesleyan University. There I will learn how to teach a Bible story (different stories from last year), how to tell a missionary story, how to run a 5-Day Club, and how to share the Gospel.   All this will build on what I learned last year.
